Conversation Heart Bowls
We were so inspired by the creative and talented mother/daughter duo over at Create Laugh Learn and their conversation hearts that we had to rush right out and buy all the supplies. We "tweaked" ours a bit and turned them into sweet little trinket dishes to give to daddy and grandparents for Valentine's day.
Step 3: If turning into a bowl, place each heart into a bowl to dry. Allow to dry completely for at least 24-36 hours.
Step 4: Paint as desired! You can paint the entire bowl one color or fill in the message with a contrasting color after the main color has dried. You can also spray with a finishing spray after everything is dry to give it a nice professional sheen.

What You'll Need:
*Crayola Model Magic in White. Why we love it- Model Magic does NOT dry hard, but instead stays soft. We chose ours in white, but it comes in a variety of colors. We purchased a larger box containing (4) 8 oz packages.
*Heart shaped cookie cutter
*Rolling pin
*Alphabet stampers. We used the Dough Stampers from Lakeshore Learning. They are awesome!
*Paints in assorted pastel colors- we found ours at Walmart and really liked the way the gloss ones turned out (see the pink heart above).
*Paint brushes
*Small bowls for drying
Step 1: Knead your Model Magic until smooth. Roll out and use your cookie cutter to cut out a heart.
Step 2: Use your letter stampers to make messages. Use conversation hearts for inspiration.
