Thumbprint Art & other Father's Day Gift Ideas
Father's Day is next week so we headed to our local paint and play place and painted up some fun gifts for daddy. Our first project was some thumbprint art. We used Pinterest for inspiration and combined several of our favorite ideas to create a lovely piece of our own.
We decided to do a picture of daddy and his two girls holding hands on a walk. Before I could even get to the table Miss 4 year old had already taken all the lids off the paints and dropped a big blob of lavender on our fresh white canvas, thus the large lavender flower to the right:-) Miss 4 happily did most of the thumbprints but we were able to get Miss 9 month old to at least do the yellow thumbprint that would represent her holding daddy's hand. We think it turned out great!! Won't it look so nice hanging in daddy's office?
We added some googly eyes to finish him off and we were done! Didn't he turn out great!!!!
Check out another of our Father's Day gift ideas here.
